Richmond Hill
is one of the GTA’s fastest developing areas. Residential
construction seems to be the number one issue in terms of development.
It is sure that any potential renter will be able to find a place of
their liking in this developing area. The city of Richmond Hill
has a lot to offer to its residents and businesses.

Many of Toronto’s businesses are
relocating to Richmond Hill for the cheaper land prices, which in turn
allows property owners to offer their places for less. Bounded
by Highway 404 on the East Side, Richmond Hill is located north of
Toronto and south of the town of Aurora. This area was recently
made part of the Greater Toronto Area in 1998 and has quickly become
one of the GTA’s fastest developing areas.

Located just west of Highway 404 along
Highway 7 is one of Richmond Hill’s newest developing areas.
Large companies are now relocating their regional offices along this
street that also has many smaller businesses. Along this street
you will find a large number restaurants and stores. Shopping is
excellent in this area as the variety of stores offer a number of
products and services. There is a substantial strip of Asian
based stores and restaurants along the street that adds a different
flavour to what Toronto is all about.
One popular spot year round in the town
of Richmond Hill is the wave pool, which is located in the Lois Hancey
Aquatic Centre on Hopkins St. The pool is an indoor wave pool
that features surfs that reach up to 4 feet and is also home to a
160-foot waterslide.

For those space enthusiasts, the David
Dunlop Observatory is sure to a bit hit. Located on Hillsview
Dr., just north of Highway 7, the observatory has largest optical
telescope in Canada. Also located in Richmond Hill along Yonge St. and
just off of Highway 407 is Silvercity Richmond Hill. This is a
mega movie complex that is sure to get everyone’s attention.
